Decades ago when concurrent receipt was passed for those with over 20 years of service they rallied for their cause. We need to do the same! They are essentially taxing all of 50k+ us to the tune of a billion a year. It is absurd, it's shameful, it's demoralizing, and most importantly it's not what the people want or else there wouldn't be 70% of a bipartisan congress supporting it. The fact that our dysfunctional congress has almost 3/4ths supporting it yet it sits rotting is wrong on so many levels itself. Why it wasn't attached to Ndaa 2024 is incomprehensible as well. We need to organize a rally and have as many able bodies who are affected by it attend and let our voices be heard. Only then will we get the attention, media coverage, and the support needed to get the act passed. I have responsibilities, physical restraints, and financial limitations that would hinder my ability to attend personally, but I would make every attempt to attend a rally put forth. I am sure many of us also have said limitations, but we have to raise the roof to get the MRSA pushed through. Not just raise it, but blow the motherf'r off!
